Our story

Jassar Dental Medical Education and Health Foundation is a charitable society established to expand access to quality healthcare and education while nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

JDMEHF is an institution-building foundation operating across four core purposes — healthcare, education, research and housing. Founded in 1997, it has grown into an integrated ecosystem combining teaching hospitals, academic institutions, clinical training facilities and residential infrastructure, working alongside partner institutions to strengthen healthcare and education access for every community

Late Shri Ajit Singh Jassar founded JDMEHF in 1997 with the conviction that institutions should create lasting value for society. Starting with DJ College of Dental Sciences & Research, his vision built one of the region's earliest private healthcare education ecosystems, at a time when Modinagar had limited access to professional education.

Following the founder's demise in 2016, his youngest son, Rhitik Jassar, assumed leadership at the age of 18 — guiding the foundation through a period of regulatory change and financial consolidation. Under his leadership, JDMEHF repaid more than ₹225 crore in institutional debt while continuing to invest in academic and healthcare infrastructure, laying the groundwork for the foundation's next phase of growth through DJ Medicity.
